The Iberital Challenge grinder is a grinder designed for the discerning home user. It has conical burrs and rotates at 600 rpm which ensures a superior grind. It comes only as an automatic model as shown in the picture. The automatic model grinds the coffee fresh and has a timing mechanism to regulate the amount ground. Coffee is delivered directly into the espresso machine filter handle. This makes it suitable as a decafe grinder for cafes.

The Challenge has a stainless steel body and the plastic hopper will hold approximately 250 grams of beans.

The benefit of conical grinders is that they crush the beans to a uniform size. Fines are largely eliminated due to a lower grinding speed.

For the home, mate this grinder to machines such as EB-61 or the Barista Minore which use commercial handpieces.
